The craft behind the name

More art than job.

Justin grew up as a concrete finisher, but seasonal work pushed him toward a trade with more room to build and more room to create.

After 17 years setting tile and operating CLEAR-CUT TILE since 2013, he still sees every project as a new composition: different rooms, shapes, sizes, and possibilities. Largely self-taught through years of hands-on experience, he has developed a trusted approach built around proven products, careful preparation, and an unwavering eye for detail.

Today, Justin and Elizabeth run the business while raising their young family in Mountain View County, serving neighbours throughout Central Alberta.

How it works

Clear from first call
to final clean-up.

  1. 01

    Start the conversation

Call or email us with a few details. Small projects can often begin with photos; larger work requires an on-site visit.

  2. 02

    Plan it properly

We measure the space, discuss tile and design options, and provide a clear written estimate at no charge.

  3. 03

    Set the details

Once materials and timing are confirmed, we provide and price the setting materials needed for the installation.

  4. 04

    Build it to last

Preparation and waterproofing come first. Then every tile is laid, aligned, inspected, and the space is left clean.

Do you supply the tile?

Yes, we can supply tile if needed. Clients often select their own tile, while we provide and price all required setting materials.

Can you help select tile and grout?

Absolutely. We can help you choose tile, grout, layout, and design details that work well together in your space.

Do you install heated floors?

Yes. Heated tile floor installation is one of our available services.

How is a shower waterproofed?

We choose the right method for the project using trusted systems such as Wedi, Schluter, and Laticrete.
